Welcome to the launch of Capitol City Sports Photo Blog. It has been a long time coming, but we finally graduated from Instagram and Facebooks posts to our own location for photo journalism about the sports around the Washington, DC metro area. Every week in and around Washington DC presents opportunities to capture our nation’s best athletes demonstrating the result of their efforts.

At every level, from peewee community leagues to the pros, athletes young and old pour their heart into their sport and leave it out there on the field of play. At Capitol City Sports, our passion is turning those fleeting moments of brilliance into immortal images that will last long after the crowds have gone home and moved on.
