The Redskins announced via Twitter this morning, that they have signed 4th Round Pick, Linebacker Keenan Robinson to a contract.
The team seems to be on a Twitter kick of late, and in that same vein, they've tweeted a picture of the signing taking place. Now, I don't mean to be that guy but let's be honest with each other. Watching another person sign a sheet of paper isn't really compelling.
There are no Hollywood movies about document signings. Sure, it may happen in a few movies from time to time, but they don't typically dwell on it for very long. You know why they don't? Because it's goddamned boring to watch.
Anyhow, let me get back on topic here. Keenan Robinson is expected to play at inside linebacker and may be groomed as London Fletcher's successor when and if London decides to hang up his cleats.
In order to make room for Robinson, the Redskins will now have to release a player from their 90-man roster today. No word on who that player might be.
This signing leaves only three of the team's nine draft picks unsigned. Those three are RG3, Kirk Cousins and Josh LeRiebus.
Let's hurry up and get that done, huh guys? I mean, two of these three are crucial to your efforts this season. Hell, I hear that RG3 guy might be pretty good too.
